Arizona Golf Courses: Camelback Golf Club

Camelback Golf Club is located near downtown Scottsdale, Arizona amidst amazing mountain views. Traditional in nature, this 36-hole facility offers some of the most dramatic views of Camelback Mountain from every hole.

The Padre course is designed by Arthur Hills. This traditional parkland style course offers wide forgiving fairways lined with large trees and strategic bunkers to step up your game. The course appears easy from the initial glance; however, once you’re out there, you’ll notice the well guarded greens, tall eucalyptus trees, and dazzling water holes; placed exactly where you might have wished they weren’t. These hazards make this Scottsdale golf course an enjoyable challenge. The ninth hole has been voted on of the best water holes in the state by Golf Magazine.

The Indian Bend course is designed by Red Lawrence. Most view this links style course as the easier play; however, don’t let that fool you. The fairways on this course are lined with many tall Eucalyptus trees, which allow a smaller room for error. One the other hand, the bunkers and water holes are not as dominant as they are on the Padre course. Unlike its sister course, Indian Bend stretches out three miles from the clubhouse before returning back on the second nine. Wall to wall greenery is seen on every hole.
