Tournament Players Club of Scottsdale, also known as TPC Scottsdale, is where the famous FBR Open (formerly the Phoenix Open) is held year after year, drawing the most famous golfers like Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jasper Parnevik and many more. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Moorish, this Scottish links traditional style courses features impressive bunker placement, desert trees, subtle elevation changes and fast Bermuda Greens. Multiple tee places make TPC Scottsdale playable for any skill level. Views of the McDowell Mountain may be seen from the course. Wildlife can also be seen roaming around TPC Scottsdale, so keep watch for desert animals who live on the course. Desert views surround TPC Scottsdale, however rarely come into play. From Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport: Follow the airport signs to the Loop 202 E. towards Tempe. Merge onto Loop 202 E. and continue 3.7 miles. Merge onto Loop 101 N. via exit # 9. and continue 12 miles. Exit Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. via exit #38. Turn left onto Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. Turn right onto Greenway-Hayden Loop. Course will be located .2 miles on the left hand side of the road.
