Pointe Golf Club on Lookout Mountain is a Bill Johnston design that combines open, traditional golf mixed in with areas of high elevation change and a multitude of desert carryover. The front 7 holes start off very open and forgiving. Once you’ve reached Hole #8 the course changes design. The cart path begins to wind up the mountain, elevation changes become 100 feet and higher from tee box to fairway and the fairways begin to narrow. Hole #10 offers 175 feet of elevation change from tee box to fairway making it the most scenic hole of the golf course. Views of Lookout Mountain and Squaw Peak may be seen from this elevation. Wildlife may be seen roaming around the course. Lookout Mountain is a course that may be enjoyed by any type of player because its 4 tee placements and accommodating terrain.

Driving Directions to Pointe Golf Club on Lookout Mountain

From Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport: Follow the airport signs to the I-10 W. Merge onto I-10 W. and continue 1 mile. Merge onto AZ-51 N. via exit #147. Continue 7.5 miles and exit Northern Ave. via exit 7. Turn left on Northern Ave. Continue 2 miles and turn right onto 7th St. Continue 3 miles. Golf course will be located on the right just before Thunderbird Rd.
